Located less than twenty miles from Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Florida is home to over 125,000 people. Coral Springs prides itself on the aesthetic appeal of its entire city. The most popular celebration in Coral Springs is the "Our Town" Festival. The festival attracts several hundred thousand visitors each year. It features a beauty pageant, car show and carnival rides, as well as many other family friendly activities. In addition to its permanent collection, the Coral Springs Museum of Art hosts different exhibits throughout the year.
Coral Springs hosts a large celebration every January to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The celebration features music, a keynote speaker and a VIP Reception.
