Ontario is located in the state of California. It began as a colony in the late nineteenth century, and is now a rapidly expanding city. Ontario has a wide range of restaurants and shopping facilities. Ontario Mills is a large shopping mall, and with over 240 different retail units, 2 movie theaters, and a selection of restaurants, it is also very popular with tourists. There is also the recently opened Citizens Business Bank Arena, which hosts a range of sports fixtures, and music events.
The city has a range of events and exhibitions that take place throughout the year, including elaborate celebrations for Independence Day. The celebrations take place all day on the 4th of July, and include a parade, musical performances, shows, and then culminate with fireworks.
Ontario also contains many public parks, which feature picnic facilities, and areas for playing baseball, soccer, and basketball. Less than 20 minutes from the city centre, there is also the Raging Waters Waterpark, with over 30 different attractions.
