The second largest of Pennsylvania's cities, Pittsburgh benefits from a wealth of things to see and do, as a result of extensive patronage from the wealthy classes from the early 19th century onwards. Regarded as one of the best places to live in the US, and a particular favorite destination amongst young professionals, Pittsburgh is an affluent city popular amongst visitors and tourists alike, with notable landmarks and sights spread throughout the city.
For culture enthusiasts, there are more than ample facilities for theatre, music and the arts, in addition to a range of museums and art galleries, the most notable of which is perhaps the Andy Warhol Museum on the North Shore. Nearby Phipps Conservatory welcomes patrons from across the state to its year-round flower displays and festivals, while the famous Three Sisters Bridge connecting the Downtown area to the northern side of Pittsburgh is famous as a beacon of the Renaissance city.
