The 16th biggest city in California, San Bernardino is a diverse, vibrant community situated in the south of the state. Home to a fraction over 200,000 residents, San Bernardino has its fair share of visitors attractions, in addition to the year round sunshine and beachy coastline that attracts the bulk of visitors to the region.
San Bernardino hosts the annual Route 66 Rendezvous, a celebration of the arterial road of the same name, which attracts music lovers and revelers from across the states in recognition of the cultural significance the route holds in the community. The spring months also see the city open its arms to visitors for the National Orange Show and the Berdoo Bikes & Blues festivals, both of which are popular attractions within the region.
San Bernardino is home to the first McDonalds restaurant, now a museum, along Route 66. The Robert V Fullerton Museum of Art is also popular amongst visitors to the city, hosting a number of exhibitions year round showcasing local contemporary and modern works.
